I like all taxi drivers in El Paso, Texas am a self employed individual working in private industry in the free nation of the United States of America.
In the 14th amendment of the United States it is stated "...No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."
Therefore, Taxi Drivers like all business people have the right to control their prices. I am just trying to earn a living regardless of people's opinion of me. In addition, I believe in telling the customer upfront the price for the service.
